Future Ex-Husbands - New England Patriots Past and Present

You may or may not know, but I am a lover of all things New England Patriots.

The greatest day of my life, aside from the births of my children, was seeing the Pats play here in Minneapolis.

To go to Foxboro would truly be a dream come true.

I love my boys.

Let me give you a glimpse of some of the men I love that wore the red, white, and blue at some point throughout their career.

Drew Bledsoe.

My first football love.

He is the reason I have never accepted Tom Brady.

I will forever be a Bledsoe girl.

Adam Vinatieri.

My heart broke the day Adam signed with Indy.

I screamed with joy when the Pats intercepted the ball at the end of the 4th quarter in their last game vs. Indy this year so I wouldn't have to cheer against my love.

He is by far the greatest kicker in NFL history and I love him.

Vincent Brisby.

Vincent is one of the reasons I became a Patriots fan.

I had him on my 1st ever fantasy football team and he was one of my top point earners.

I do admit, watching him play was definitely a treat on the eyes.

Curtis Martin.

Curtis is the other reason I became a Pats fan.

He too was on my 1st fantasy team.

I'm sure he's been on other fantasy lists of mine, too.

Tedy Bruschi.

Oh Tedy, how do I love thee.

Let me count the ways...

In addition to being the greatest defensive player in Patriots history, Tedy won America's hearts when he came back to the game after suffering a debilitating stroke.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Say it with me! BenJarvus Green-Ellis!

It's so much fun to say!

And do I love watching this man repeatedly scoring touchdowns!

Wes Welker.

Look at those eyes!

Really?!?! What more do I need to say!?!

While there are so many more New England treats, past and present, these are the highlights!

Future Ex-Husbands - The Valentine's Edition

Ahhh, Valentine's Day...  The day created by greeting card companies to urge us to spend money we often don't have in an attempt to show our loved ones how we feel.  Well, forget spending the greenbacks.  I have a super special way of showing my loved ones how I feel...  By loved ones, I mean my Top 3 Future Ex-Husbands...

Here they are, in no particular order, my most beloved...

Okay, okay, I'm a big dork.  I know.  But without dreams and fantasies, what have we got.

Ahh, The List...

One thing you must know about me is I am a HUGE sports fan.  I know there is a common joke that women choose their favorite team based on who they think the cutest player is.  If that were the case, I would love the Indianapolis Colts.  I, my friends, am a long-time (16 years), die hard fan of the greatest team EVER, the New England Patriots.

Which is how #3 came to be on the list.  Folks, I heart Adam Vinatieri.  I mean look at that smile!!  From 1996 - 2005, Adam was the kicker for NE.  He went to Indy in '06 and remains there to this day... sad panda...

His smile alone isn't the reason for my adoration.  Did you know that he is THE GREATEST place kicker in NFL history!?!?!  (Not an entirely subjective statement!) I mean really, how many place kickers have thrown for a touchdown?  And do you know of any place kickers that have decided the outcome of multiple Super Bowls?  I thought not.

In addition, he does have some pretty great commercials! 

He also has a Snickers commercial where he kicks a ball and knocks a satellite out of the sky.  It could happen..

One day this summer, in one commercial break, I saw a commercial for some gossip show with Brad, a trailer for The Proposal with Ryan, AND the Snickers commercial with Adam - CONSECUTIVELY.  My amazing son rewound them three times so I could watch them over and over.  That's love! (I've trained him well!)

So, here you have it folks, three more obligatory pictures of Future Ex-Husband #3...  Sadly, like #1 and #2, he is taken.  And like the others, there is a 100% chance that he will never know how beautiful I think he is...
