Future Ex-Husbands ~ 40+

OnlyParentChronicles
My dear, sweet friend Mimi from Woven By Words recently commented that it was a shame that all of the good eye candy was of the "young enough to date my daughter and not me" variety. I quickly responded that there were many hotties in the "old enough for us" category, and went in search of the perfect man for Meem.

I soon realized that there were soooo many options!
So today is dedicated to Mimi.
May she find her options plentiful!

Also, new this week, per the request of my dear friend Andrea at Good Girl Gone Redneck, feel free to link up with your own Future Ex-Husbands post! Just grab the button above and feel free to link it up below!

Edward Norton ~ 41

Gary Oldman ~ 53

Matt Damon ~40

Jordan Knight ~ 41

Mark Wahlberg ~ 40

As usual, thanks to Google Images for the yummy photos!

Future Ex-Husbands ~ A Little Eye Candy

Being a mom, I watch a lot of movies that fit into the "family friendly" category.
In May, the kids and I went to catch one of the latest and greatest in comic book films.
Thor was a treat.
The story was family friendly and enjoyable, and the casting was mom friendly...
...If you know what I mean.

This week, I bring you the star of Thor - Chris Hemsworth.

As usual, thanks to Google Images for making my eye candy fixation so easy to satify...

Future Ex-Husbands ~ Men of Fantasy (The Movie Genre, Silly!)

On a gloomy or rainy day, it is not uncommon to find me curled up, snug in my bed deeply engaged in a movie marathon. Some of my favorite movies are epic sagas of a fantasy era long since passed.

As much as I love a good tale of good triumphing evil in a battle that could be the salvation of all humanity, sometimes I just need a good couple of hours of eye candy.

Like Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn, the mysterious ranger raised by the elves who eventually claims his throne.

Or Edward Speleers as Eragon, the young farm boy destined to be a dragon rider.

And of course, the lovely Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Elven-prince and archer and memeber of the Fellowship of the Ring.

What men of fantasy do you love?

As always, a big fat thanks to Google Images for meeting all of my eye candy needs!

The Return of Future Ex-Husbands

On Friday, Natalie at Mommy of a Monster and Twins posted about her Free Pass list. Reading it reminded me of a feature that has fallen by the wayside here at Only Parent Chronicles, much to the chagrin of my Fave Cousin.

Those of you that have been with me for a while know of my unnatural attraction to Ryan Reynolds and my love for all things Brad Pitt and Adam Vinatieri.

The Future Ex-Husband's list is so much more than a Free Pass list; it is a limitless list of potential. Eye candy abounds, and imaginations go wild...

So back by popular demand, I bring to you...

Per the repeated request of my beloved Fave Cousin, I bring to you the hot and naughty Sean Patrick Flanery!

As usual, thank you to the amazing Google images for the countless Sean Patrick Flanery viewing options.

Who would you like to see featured on the Future Ex-Husbands List?

Future Ex-Husbands - Gift Wrapped Ryan

You may have heard by now, but it was anounced early last week that
Ryan Reynolds and his wife Scarlett Johanssen are calling it quits.

I'm not one that follows tabloids and watches things like Entertainment Tonight, but it was hard to miss when my twitterverse started blowing up with tweets about my love being back on the market!

Being I have THE greatest friends in the whole entire world,
the tweets proclaiming Ryan and I being perfect for one another were in abundance.
My darling friend @QuesoBonito even had this to say:
MERRY CHRISTMAS LADIES.....Ryan Reynolds is SINGLE!!! I'm gonna stick a bow on him and put him under @That_One_Mom 's tree.... #hohohos

Needless to say, a gift wrapped Ryan sounds so very appealing...

That, my friends, would be a true Christmas miracle.

All photos were located via Google images and gift wrapped for me by Momma B.

Future Ex- Husbands ~ Snow Day

In case you didn't hear, Saturday brought a crazy blizzard to Minnesota.
With snow falling 1 - 1 1/2  inches an hour and visibility being white out conditions, I was home bound.
No work. No shopping. No getting out of the house.
Period.

So while 21" of snow accumulated out my front door, I curled up in bed and watched countless episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 on Soap Net.

Yes. I know it's Monday and I know Future Ex-Husbands usually runs on Sunday...
Sorry.
I was side tracked.

But today I bring you a Future Ex-Husbands post inspired by my snow day tv extravaganza!

The men of 90210.
Then and now!

Future Ex-Husbands - New England Patriots Past and Present

You may or may not know, but I am a lover of all things New England Patriots.
The greatest day of my life, aside from the births of my children, was seeing the Pats play here in Minneapolis.
To go to Foxboro would truly be a dream come true.
I love my boys.

Let me give you a glimpse of some of the men I love that wore the red, white, and blue at some point throughout their career.

Drew Bledsoe.
My first football love.
He is the reason I have never accepted Tom Brady.
I will forever be a Bledsoe girl.

Adam Vinatieri.
My heart broke the day Adam signed with Indy.
I screamed with joy when the Pats intercepted the ball at the end of the 4th quarter in their last game vs. Indy this year so I wouldn't have to cheer against my love.
He is by far the greatest kicker in NFL history and I love him.

Vincent Brisby.
Vincent is one of the reasons I became a Patriots fan.
I had him on my 1st ever fantasy football team and he was one of my top point earners.
I do admit, watching him play was definitely a treat on the eyes.

Curtis Martin.
Curtis is the other reason I became a Pats fan.
He too was on my 1st fantasy team.
I'm sure he's been on other fantasy lists of mine, too.

Tedy Bruschi.
Oh Tedy, how do I love thee.
Let me count the ways...
In addition to being the greatest defensive player in Patriots history, Tedy won America's hearts when he came back to the game after suffering a debilitating stroke.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Say it with me! BenJarvus Green-Ellis!
It's so much fun to say!
And do I love watching this man repeatedly scoring touchdowns!

Wes Welker.
Look at those eyes!
Really?!?! What more do I need to say!?!

While there are so many more New England treats, past and present, these are the highlights!

Join me tomorrow night in cheering them on as they take on the nasty, hated New York Jets.

Future Ex-Husbands - Better Late Than Never

So, on Saturday night after I got home from work, I went to log in  to Blogger and get my FEX post scheduled for the week. Sadly, there was some kind of certificate error with the Blogger site and I was not near a computer all day on Sunday.

So, here it is, a day late, but better than never..

Channing Tatum!

I wasn't so sure what I thought of him in Dear John, but the trailers for his new movie,
The Eagle, have me excited for more. Yum!

Future Ex-Husbands - Eye Candy to Be Thankful For

Yes, I know... Last week I totally failed you in the #FEX department.

This week, however, this man can't stop dancing through my mind.
With all of the commercials for the new season of
The Human Target,
I have had many daydreams of
Mark Valley.

Check him out!

Future Ex-Husbands - So Easy On the Eyes

While there is so much eye candy running around Hollywood these days,
I find myself going back to my core group of hotties when I sit down to write my FEX posts.
While I know that Ryan Reynolds and RDJ are repeatedly swoon worthy,
I do know there are other men that get my temperature rising -
if you know what I mean....

I saw a movie trailer on tv the other day that looked totally NOT up my alley.
As I was readying myself to press the fast forward button
on my trusty DVR,
something on the screen caught my eye.
Or should I say someone.

I remember seeing him for the first time while watching Princess Diaries 2 with my beloved daughter.
He even caught her eys - and she was very young at the time.

He once again caught my eye as the young James T. Kirk in Star Trek.

At only 30 years young,
I hope Chris Pine finds himself in front of cameras for a very long time.

I think my eyes can handle it.
