As the air gets cooler and the leaves start to change, the world around takes on a whole new presence. I love the way the air smells, and the crunch and crackle of leaves under my feet.

I'm not sure if, when, or where I will be taking my fall trip this year. Last year was Duluth, MN. This year may bring Seattle. I've never been to the Pacific Northwest. If I go, there are sure to be pictures.
In the meantime, I am content in knowing I have an NFL football game to go to with longtime friends, apple orchard visits (complete with homemade applesauce, apple crisp, and apple pie), and the Trail of Terror! Not to mention Trick or Treating with my kids and a Halloween costume party with my friends! Really, what is there not to love about fall?

How beautiful... that's one thing I've missed since I moved from DC to the deep south. I would love to have real fall again!
Absolutely beautiful. I usually take the time to go hiking each fall but so far it's been either too cold or raining here! I love the last photo :)
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I added you back and look forward to reading more about you. Nice pictures !

@ Senorita - thanks for swinging by!
@ Michele - Trail of Terror is in one word - AMAZING! It's a hay ride on a trailer pulled by a tractor through a "haunted" woods AND a "haunted house"! I heart all things spooky and Halloween-y!
There is nothing more beautiful than Fall foilage! My fave time as well!! Totally hate that I'm in Northwest Fl. but at least I have 1 tree in my yard that changes colors!! Time for a trip to visit the in-laws (gag) in Ark. so I can get my Autumn fix!
Very jealous of all the pictures you posted, how amazing the places look! Please post more if you have them!
Found you via SITS!
