Ugh - not fun!! Try to remember that this is YOUR wedding. It's OK to be *selfish* and do what makes you both happy. Everyone else will understand and if they don't, that's their issue not yours. You'll never make everyone happy anyway, right?
Not a fan of the courthouse route though. Sooo impersonal! You can find something prettier and special for you!!!

You have to do what your heart wants. Do you need the big party? Will this put you in debt?

You will figure out exactly what works for you. And having had a wedding w/200 people and 11 bridesmaids, and having been IN like 12-15 weddings and attended at least 50, well, I can help. ;)
