Share a Spoon - Pumpkin-y Goodness

In case you can't read a calenar - it's Thursday!!!

You know what that means!  It's time to head on over to the Think Tank and link up your recipes with Momma B!!!

This week's theme is bread!  And since Starbucks won't give me their recipe for Pumpkin Loaf, I scoured the internet until I found this delicious recipe on AllRecipes.com!!!  So a big, fat THANK YOU to
Delores Lucas for posting the bestest pumpkin bread evah!

*Ingredients*
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 (16 ounce) can solid pack pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 cup water

*Directions*
~Preheat oven to 350
~Grease 2 9x5x3 loaf pans
~Combine sugar, oil, and eggs in a large bowl
~Add the pumpkin mixture alternately with water
~Divide mixture evenly between 2 loaf pans
~Bake 60 - 65 minutes (until the bread tests done)
~Cool in pans 10 minutes before moving to cooling racks to cool completely

Pumpkin bread is my favorite. It's also good if you top the bread with Pepitas. (pumpkin seeds)

One of my favs! I am a bit, and I mean just a bit of a health freak though so I sub applesauce for oil and cut the sugar almost in half. It turns out fantastic and the applesauce makes it more moist than the oil. YUM!
